Every Sutraa piece is made in 18k solid gold with lab-grown diamonds. We stand behind how each piece is made, and we warrant every piece against defects in materials and workmanship.

What This Warranty Covers

This is a manufacturing warranty. It covers faults in how a piece was made: a fault in the gold itself, a clasp or fitting that fails structurally, or a fault in the construction of the piece that appears under normal wear. Where we confirm a manufacturing defect, we will repair the piece, replace it, or offer a refund.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

Fine jewellery worn every day will show a life of wear, and some things sit outside a manufacturing warranty. This warranty does not cover:

• General wear over time, including scratches, softening of finish, and gradual thinning of chain.
• Stones or beads that loosen, dislodge, or are lost. A setting holds under normal wear but is not immune to knocks, pressure, or the effects of daily life, and stone or bead loss is not treated as a manufacturing fault.
• Damage from impact, knocks, drops, crushing, or bending.
• Damage from improper wear, cleaning, or storage, or from not following our care guidance.
• Discolouration or damage from perfume, cosmetics, chlorine, or household chemicals.
• Loss or theft of a piece.
• Any repair, resizing, or alteration carried out by another jeweller.

Making A Warranty Claim

Email us at info@sutraajewels.com.au with your order number and clear photographs of the piece and the fault. We will assess it, and may ask you to return the piece so we can inspect it. If we confirm a manufacturing defect, we cover postage both ways and carry out the repair or replacement at no cost to you. Proof of purchase is required for all claims.

Warranty Period

Sutraa pieces carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, from the date of purchase, for the original owner.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is given in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and does not limit them.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
