Tradition evolves, meaning does not.

Sutraa is Australia's first mangalsutra fine jewellery brand made for everyday wear. We design it for ordinary days, not only for the day a marriage begins.

The brand started with the two of us, Rolance and Brenna, a married couple from different backgrounds who chose this tradition together. The mangalsutra came to us through Rolance's family. We wanted one that could be worn quietly, every day, and could not find it, so we made our own.

Each piece is made in 18k solid gold with lab-grown diamonds and designed by us in Australia. Black beads run through every design as our one constant. Everything around them is pared back: finer chains, softer proportions, light enough to forget.

We are not drawn to heritage for its own sake, or to jewellery saved for a single occasion. What matters to us sits underneath the piece: two people choosing the same life and meaning it, and a mangalsutra you can actually live in.

Sutraa is more than jewellery. It is a symbol of love, devotion, and the journey of marriage itself.
